My love affair with flowers began as a young girl picking wild flowers on the plains of West Texas. While married to my active duty military spouse, I traveled the world and my appreciation of all things flora and fauna blossomed. At the Blumen Markets in West Germany, I procured splendid arrangements at a very reasonably priced, making it possible to create weekly fresh flowers in my home in Stuttgart. During a four year tour in Hawaii, I nurtured beautiful tropical flowers and plants in the yard at my home near Honolulu.
I am a proud graduate of TAMU's class of 1985 and hold a B.B.A. in Management. I've attended the Benz School of Floral Design two week basic course during the summer of 2015. I also hold three Texas Teacher Certifications and taught fifth grade for several years in Central Texas. I enjoy spending time with my two feisty grown daughters, Katie & Sydney, and my one sweet cherub of a granddaughter, Evelynn Makenzie.
